The Makkah Route offers a unique spiritual and historical journey through some of the most significant sites associated with the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the rituals of Hajj and Umrah. The experience begins with visits to renowned landmarks such as Al-Jinn Mosque, Al-Ijabah Mosque, Jabal Al-Noor and the Cave of Hira, where the first revelation was received, followed by Jabal Thawr and its historic cave, a key site in the Prophet’s migration.
The journey continues through the sacred sites of Arafat, including Namirah Mosque, Jabal Al-Rahmah, and Ain Zubaidah, before proceeding to Muzdalifah and Al-Mash'ar Al-Haram. It concludes in Mina, home to several important landmarks such as the Jamarat, Jamarat Bridge, Al-Khayf Mosque, and the Mosque of Bay'at Al-Aqabah.
This route provides visitors with a meaningful opportunity to explore the rich history of Islam, reflect on pivotal moments from the Prophetic era, and experience the spiritual significance of these blessed locations in a memorable and enriching journey.
Guests are welcomed and introduced to the itinerary, with an overview of the route and the key landmarks to be visited throughout the journey.

A scheduled stop for lunch and relaxation before continuing the remainder of the journey.
Visit Jabal Thawr and learn about the historical significance of the Cave of Thawr and its connection to the Prophet’s migration (Hijrah).
Explore Jamarat Bridge and discover its important role in facilitating the Hajj pilgrimage rituals.
Visit Al-Jinn Mosque and learn about its historical significance as one of Makkah’s notable Islamic landmarks.
Your tour will conclude in San Francisco on Day 8 of the trip. There are no activities planned for this day so you're free to depart at any time. We highly recommend booking post-accommodation to give yourself time to fully experience the wonders of this iconic city!
Day 1 of this tour is an arrivals day, which gives you a chance to settle into your hotel and explore Los Angeles. The only planned activity for this day is an evening welcome meeting at 7pm, where you can get to know your guides and fellow travellers. Please be aware that the meeting point is subject to change until your final documents are released.
Airport transfers are not included in the price of this tour, however you can book for an arrival transfer in advance. In this case a tour operator representative will be at the airport to greet you. To arrange this please contact our customer service team once you have a confirmed booking.
This tour has an age range of 12-70 years old, this means children under the age of 12 will not be eligible to participate in this tour. However, if you are over 70 years please contact us as you may be eligible to join the tour if you fill out G Adventures self-assessment form.
