The Ruhah Museum was established by Professor Mohammed Bamashab as a window showcasing the rich history and heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The museum brings together unique collections that reflect the nation’s cultural and historical identity, driven by an ambitious vision to enhance community awareness of the importance of heritage preservation.
The event was organized under the supervision of Fikr Al-Tanmiyah Company for Commercial Services and Public Relations, led by Mr. Maki Al Salem, who played a key role in the success of the event through media coordination and fostering collaboration between cultural and tourism entities.
Prominent contributions included insights from key figures: Dr. Bandar Al-Amir emphasized the need to develop cultural tourism as a means of strengthening the Kingdom’s global presence; Dr. Mohammed Al-Attas highlighted the role of tour guides in delivering exceptional visitor experiences, with a focus on training and qualification programs; while Sharif Masad Al-Shanbari and Ms. Huwaida bint Mohammed stressed the importance of supporting local museums as reflections of the Kingdom’s authenticity and rich heritage.
The “Distinctive Flavor” initiative contributed heritage-inspired gifts that added a touch of Saudi hospitality, enhancing the atmosphere of authenticity that characterized the event.
This visit represented an important step toward strengthening national heritage and highlighting the cultural and historical landmarks of Makkah, reaffirming the Kingdom’s role as a global tourism hub under the slogan: “Welcome to the World.”
